Samsung Galaxy S6 "Micro Updates"

As alot of you know there are going to be Micro Updates (firmware updates) to the galaxy S6 in the coming months - the first one is to sort out the RAM management - 2nd one is an update with fingerprint and other improvements. Let us know in the comments if you know any other news or info regarding these.

In general my phone seems a lot more slicker , alphabetically arrange my apps. Battery settings is a lot more detailed in how you can now stop app services that you don't use all the time

I have tried ota and nothing shows. Connected to pc and kies forces smart switch so unable to firmware update from there. Any ideas?

Me too: O2 UK. no sign of the OTA yet. Is this a staged rollout?

All these updates are dependent on your CSC.
Anyone with an O2U CSC will get updates when O2 approves them.
XEU or BTU CSC's will get them (usually quicker) directly from Samsung.

And here I am still waiting for the big update for my Note 3...

In a little hope of letting others know when they'll get the update or not then, I've a CSC of "O2U". looks like I've not got it yet.

It's only Sammy that has released it currently.
O2 have approved it but they are awaiting a Sammy roll out - should be sometime next week.

My 5.1.1 update for the S6 Edge came down on Thursday Night, and its an o2 64GB model, i would suggest if you dont want to wait to go into Settings>About>Updates and check from there. 

Samsung usually do staged roll outs to devices, so will push the notification the device over a period of a couple of weeks.

Also an o2 model bought directly from an o2 shop, it must be pushed to a certain amount of devices at a time
