Hi there,

Could anyone confirm if they have managed to enable wifi calling with a Oneplus 7T on O2 network?

I can see that Oneplus devices are listed as supported up to the 6 on the website. I wondered whether the same firmware would work with 7T? On a really good contract with Plusnet atm and my only reason for switching would be for WiFi calling but would like to confirm it works before doing so!

Thanks,

Mat

Works perfectly on my OP6.

I've upgraded to the same firmware as OP7 so can't see why not.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I think that is because O2 don't sell the 7 or 7T though rather than it not being supported.

OnePlus support WiFi calling natively in their firmware.

Yeah, I assumed it would work but recently tried switching to Vodafone as they support wi-fi and as you said, its enabled on device but they couldnt get it to work so had to cancel that contract and back at square one - want to avoid having to do the same again! Only network that it 100% works with is Three as they sell the Oneplus 7T but I have no reception with three at work so can't use them. Only leaves O2 and EE... Hoping someone who has this phone can confirm!

Might be worth you asking on the OnePlus community forum.

Likely to find more 7T users there.
