New LG G3 - Texts going to old iPhone

Anonymous
Not applicable
More info
Hello again,
More info
Vaguely confused brand new LG G3 user again (thank you again for getting my 3G signal set up yesterday!!).
More info
I am still using my old 'not in service' iPhone just to check work emails (outlook) which I haven't yet been able to set up on my new phone.
More info
When I text my 15 year old daughter (she has an iPhone 5c which is almost fused to her hand) from my new LG G3 phone and she replies, the replies go to my old iPhone.
More info
I've turned off the imessaging on my old iPhone and am now not receiving her replies at all (although she has texted in response?).
More info
Any ideas?
More info
Many thanks,

No you're trying to confuse us with your spoilers wink
You need to deregister your number from the iPhone so that texts will come through to the LG.

The OP post was like a teaser advertising campaign, revealing little by little the problem...
