Lockscreen Messages

Anonymous
Not applicable

Ok folks posted this one before while on android 4.3. On 4.3 I could not get my messages to appear on lockscreen no matter what I tried. So decided to wait for 4.4. Finally got it yesterday and guess what , still cant get messages and missed calls to show on lockscreen. I thought the HTC one mini was a good phone , but guesss I was wrong. Simple thing like this and it wont happen. Dissappointed!!!

I've been Googling around and I can't find anything official that says it's been removed, in fact, the instructions on how to set lock screen notif's are still on HTC's own website.
I'd get back onto HTC support and push them a bit further - Many appear to have the problem and seem to be using this app in the meantime but firmly believe it's still a bug.....

Maybe HTC have deleted it from the mini.....?
Or is yours O2 branded - maybe it's an O2 decision ?

Its unbranded. If i go to settings , security , notifactions they are enabled to show on lock screen and status bar but only show on status bar. If i swipe left on the lock screen I get another screen to add widgets but no message widget

This is the opposite of what you want, however perhaps it will let unselect the hidden option.

Indubitably true. Samsung S21 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra
