Kitkat on M2?

Anonymous
Not applicable

Can someone tell me if O2 has released KitKat on the M2?

Kitkat has been out for the M2 since august now. I've ran update on both my phone and sony companion software and it says I have latest software installed (Android 4.3). Yet i've been reading that people have already installed KitKit on the M2.

Thanks.

According to the second to last post on that thread MI5 the update is out but it's not showing when I check either from my phone or the Sony update software installed on my PC.

I believe that thread relates to O2 branded firmware.
It's possible that other firmwares haven't been released yet though.
Are you O2 branded?

Not sure. I got my phone from carphone warehouse on an o2 contract but I remember them telling me the phone I was getting is sim free.

The phone doesn't display an o2 logo when booting up.
