I have the Galaxy S3 and i have no problems with watching the BBC i player on it. My mate though has an I phone and he can actually record programmes to his phone as well.
Anyone knpow if i've not got the right app or is it just a case of Android being behind the I phone in getting the latest apps?

Took a while but i received this today and thought i'd let you know what the BBC had to say.
"Thank you for contacting the BBC iPlayer support team.
I understand you would like to know why downloading feature is unavailable on Android devices.
This feature is coming in the future, but we are still some months away from being able to provide it.
In addition, your concerns have been used to inform a daily report which is sent to the BBC iPlayer team, including the head of BBC iPlayer."
