Personal choice.
I expect Nexus 6 to jump to number 2 on release.

Personally...the Note....though I shall be going for the Note 3 as I am used to Samsung......

I like a bigger phone and one that experts are used to...should I require help wink

As you have a short list already I woukd suggest ->

Look at real end user reviews on YouTube.

See if any family or friends have one of those you list and have a play.

Visit your high street shops and have a go with the working demo models to get a feel for them aesthetically and for their UI

What ticks the wants and needs for one person may not tick your wants and needs.

Enjoy the journey.

I added the Note 4 as it is by far the most advanced phone available on sale today, anywhere.

If it is too big for you though I would go with the Z3.

I would like to add the Motorola Moto X 2014 to the mix. It has been given very good reviews in every article I've read.

Lots of choice, which the OP will have to make for himself.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

I would be adding Moto Nexus X to the list. Even though this is a SIM free phone, it will be playing direct competition to the mover and shakers.
