Hey,

Near-perfect credit score in the usual places. Pay off any credit card bills monthly, never missed a payment. Earn more than £50k.

I want a 12 month contract for £8 a month which I would happily pay off in one go.

I get hit with "Unfortunately the credit check was not successful"

It's infuriating I can get a mortgage but can't do an £8 a month sim deal.

Why is this?

Because since the merger with VM everything has gone downhill and makes no sense anymore.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

If I had a penny for everytime I saw that as of recent.

And yet they still allow people to take out contracts without direct debits or continuous payment by card, then some come on here missing payments or not being able to pay.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@ClassicJJ Wait a few days, so the number of times you get credit checked doesn't affect your ability to get a contract, then try Uswitch but try with a different provider. O2 is pretty useless anyway, and you won't be losing out not going with them.
