useful info for 900mhz & 1800mhz

I managed to obtain this bit of useful info off ofcom's website in relation to bandwith for 900 & 1800 mhz and the fact both spectrums can potentially be used for 2g, 3g and 4g;

I think the biggest flaw in this is that, these only come as recommendations rather than "de facto must be abided" rules. Although it's good see to that this sort of information is available.

I think sometimes we all like a good moan, but it is worth finding out a bit of background info as to why certain decisions are made by mobile operators. To the naked eye sometimes things just don't add up, but when you dig a bit deeper you tend to extract a bit of reason and understanding, yes money/profits is always their main goal and we know that but for us the consumer we just need to obtain info via other means if you know what I mean.
