Word Hunt Diamond - Game 78

Welcome to the Word Hunt Diamond - Game 78

The game is open to all members.

Each week, a grid of nine letters in a diamond will be posted.

The aim of the game is to find the target number of words [as in the source used for the game] using only the letters in the grid.

This week`s "diamond" is as follows:

This week`s target is 74 words - using only the letters in the diamond - including TWO 9-letter words.

I will be giving awards to players 

 star  - to each of the players who finds one of the two nine-letter words

 trophy - to the player who finds the last word in the list in the source used for the game

 diamond dog - to the player who finds the most words not in the list before the end of the game.

The rules:

Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter C.

No proper names are allowed.

Scottish words and American spellings are allowed.

Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word [for example, RACER isn`t allowed]

Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter C

Only one word per post.

Please wait until someone else has posted before posting again.

PLEASE NOTE: I will have to call a STOP to the game periodically so I can give updates of words found. Please be patient and wait whilst this is being done and hope it does not cause too much delay or disruption to the game. 

The Word Hunt Diamond game is open to all members.

Well done everyone in your team effort in finding the 74 words in the list in the source used for this game and 22 words not in the list but in dictionaries so allowed before the end of the game.

There is no way I`m gonna let the platform provider`s changes stop the Word Hunt Diamond and appreciate everyone stopping the game so I can catch up and do the Updates - especially when you guys were on top form today finding all those words not in the list.

Brilliant game, well done - so many anagrams of each word in this game, one word triggered 3 or 4 with the same few letters. Well done to our own male Carol Vorderman in Dictionary Corner (can't remember the actual dictionary buff!), @Mi-Amigo, valiantly keeping up, and to all the contributors: @Cleoriff @Anonymous @BobM @gmarkj
