There are two White Room Quizzes each week - one on Monday and one on Wednesday.

Today`s White Room Quiz is eight questions - with two questions on each of these categories

Those wishing to take part must pm me - @Mi-Amigo - with their answers between 12 noon today [Monday] and 11.59pm tomorrow [Tuesday].

Q6 NATURE 2 What type of animal is a Cheshire White ?

Q7 LITERATURE 2 In which Charles Dicken`s novel does the character Bayham Badger appear ?

Q8 SPORT 2 How many laps of the track are run in the 10,000 metre race ?

The White Room Quiz is open to all members of the Community.

Those who want to take part must pm [private message] me [Mi-Amigo] with their answers between 12 noon today [Mon 22 March 2021] and 23.59 [11.59pm] tomorrow [Tues 23 March 2021]

- allowing 36 hours to pm your answers.

Please do not post your answers on the thread.

The answers - and results for each player taking part - will be posted on morning of Wed 24 Mar 2021

Each member will be awarded star for each correct answer. In addition, each member who gives

THE RULES

Each member must pm [private message] their answers to me [Mi-Amigo] after 12 noon today [Mon 22 Mar 2021] and before 23.59 [11.59pm] tomorrow [Tues 23 Mar 2021].

No member is to post any answer on the thread.

Any answer received after 23.59 [11.59pm] on Tues 23 Mar 2021 will be declared void.

No googling, wiki, youtube search for answers.

The White Room Quiz is open to all members.

New members, who have recently joined the Community, and members who have not taken part before, are welcome to join the "regulars" with this week`s quiz.

Please feel free to post any comments on the questions - but not the answers - on this thread.

If you have any questions about the quiz, please ask and I will reply here.

I've been to Cuckoo Land and can tell you (without giving anything away) that it's a little gem and doesn't just have clocks on display /

Could you please share your info on Cuckooland with us on here after I give the answers, results, awards on Wed as I`m sure others would be interested

So does that look like you might know the answers to at least three of today`s questions @MI5 ?

A couple of the questions are not so easy @Cleoriff and might need thinking about

All I will say is I thought I knew my trees and Dickens characters.

Are you sure they are spelt correctly @Mi-Amigo?

Edit. Have to go to specsavers/. I read Bayham Badger as Bayham Bridge?? FGS!!

I`ve checked the questions.

You don`t have to go to SpecSavers. Initially, with Q7 I typed Bayham Bridge, but noticed the error and corrected it to Bayham Badger.

As to Q6, it should read

What type of animal is a Chester White ? [not Cheshire White]
