There are two White Room Quizzes each week - one on Monday and one on Wednesday.

Today`s White Room Quiz is the Regulars` Votes edition.

Our regular WRQ quizzers were invited to vote for their favourite four categories - with points awarded as follows - each No 1 [favourite] - 4 points; each 2nd - 3 points; each 3rd - 2 points; each 4th - 1 point.

The votes are in and the points counted.

Today`s WRQ is eight questions with two questions from each of these categories

- MUSIC [16 points]   MOVIES [12 points]   SCIENCE [9 points]    NATURE [8 points[

The White Room Quiz is open to all members.

Those wishing to take part must pm me - @Mi-Amigo  - their answers between 12 noon today [Monday] and 11.59pm tomorrow [Tuesday].

Please do not post your answers on the thread.

The White Room Quiz is open to all members of the Community.

Those who want to take part must send a pm [private message] to me [Mi-Amigo] with their answers between 12 noon today [Mon 11 Apr 2022] and 23.59 [11.59pm] tomorrow [Tues 12 Apr 2022]

- allowing 36 hours to pm your answers.

Please do not post your answers on the thread.

The answers - and results for each player taking part - will be posted on morning of Wed 13 April 2022

Each member will be awarded  for each correct answer. In addition, Thinkers will be awarded as follows

THE RULES

Each member must pm [private message] their answers to me [Mi-Amigo] after 12 noon today [Mon 11 Apr 2022] and before 23.59 [11.59pm] tomorrow [Tues 12 Apr 2022].

No member is to post any answer on the thread.

Any answer received after 23.59 [11.59pm] on Tues 12 Apr 2022 will be declared void.

No googling, wiki, youtube search for answers.

The White Room Quiz is open to all members.

New members, who have recently joined the Community, and members who have not taken part before, are welcome to join the "regulars" with this week`s quiz. 

Please feel free to post any comments on the questions - but not the answers - on this thread.

If you have any questions about the quiz, please ask and I will reply here.

Just signed in so will try a test with forum emoji`s

tried smiley  trophy   football emojis

error post flooding message

had to delete and repost this....

Using laptop Chrome...

So the problem persists with Good Friday, weekend, Easter, Bank Hol so close, it looks doubtful that the platform provider will be bothered about fixing the issue until some time next week - if we`re lucky.

As you said, I`ve used the awards system for WRQ years. 

Many will remember the fiasco when the new look forum was introduced and I had to suspend WHD. Despite the problems, I did not let the platform provider win and, with difficulty, was able to bring WHD back before the platform provider finally got round to a fix.

Likewise, if the emoji issue is not fixed - and we need it fixed now, today, Thursday - I will not let the platform provider prevent us from having WRQ and have already come up with a temporary solution so WRQ with the stars and awards might still be possible [without having to rely on copy and paste, which would be a nightmare with so many answers to reply to] and, come what may, WRQ on Easter Monday will go ahead.

Yep had to take all the emojis out one at a time before I could save it:

Off back to the phone to whack'em back in - stoopid forum!

Seems it is doing something whacky with HTML in the background that is confusing the editor on Chrome on Laptop.

Well chuffed that stand-by for Monday`s Easter WRQ can have stars and awards.
