I may be biased but I feel London’s firework display kicks all other display’s butts 👌🏼

I agree with that. A superb show. One of the best I've seen....
My only gripe was the choice of music chosen for the firework display.
Not as good this year as I have heard during the past 3 years...

We did watch and enjoy the London fireworks on TV, like others though, not a fan of the music selection.
2019 here we come - whatever you bring!

The display cost £3 million. £1million of that was paid for by ticket sales and concession income.
It's estimated that ticketholders who came to London to attend the fireworks brought an economic benefit of £6.5 million to the city.
Whilst I admire the sentiment 'it could have gone to the homeless'. It wouldn't.
The NHS is still waiting for it's £350 million if we voted to leave the EU...

On the topic of EU and the firework show in Londond earlier this morning... did anyone associate the blue London Eye and the starbursts around it with the flag of the EU?
I heard the bit about London being open for business, but missed the golden stars round the blue ring bit.

Gotta admit, I did think it looked like the EU flag, nice fireworks but definitely an event aimed at luvving up to the EU.
Confirmed by the mayor himself later on.
