Hey guys.
In one of my old forums I was a member of (not existing anymore since this year), we had a thread where everybody just told in short what made them happy this day. Thought it would be nice for here too! 
To start: I'm working for EMS and my first call today was am expected birth. So we hoped we would be able to bring her into hospital just in time. But it didn't work. I was at the patient and she just said "it's coming"... My team-mate was driving REALLY fast, it took him about an kilometer to brake - during that time the baby was just born. Even we were a really young team and not long into job, we did VERY well and even the doctors told us we did excellent.
(Our last call was a reanimation on the street, the woman did not get an own circulation again.... But I guess that's the circle of life :D)
Just being out and about in the Spring-like weather

That's true... My mechanic said today I look good and shiny... Smiling and so on. Didn't even realised it myself ^^

Spending some time with my mum in her home
Being in the company of a good friend ... me drinking soft drinks / tea / latte ... however ... finishing off with a double parma violet gin & Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic ... my friend finishing off with a double Jamesons whiskey
Ate a hot meal for tea, which is a 1st in quite some time ... = ... a bung in the oven fish pie job - my cat Marty licked the plate clean

the morning began with warm sunlight streaming in through my bedroom window 
had a good cuppa tea, tablets & cereal brekkie
fussed & fed the cat ... then we both went back to bed for an extended doss 
had a good read from Professor Noel Fitzpatrick's book = Listening to the Animals whilst being in the pub ... this hardback book is almost set in double spacing & in quite large print so is easy for me to read
home for a hot ready meal = chicken Kiev
now playing about on the laptop

Started 4 weeks ago now. Brilliant as usual.
My day started early. Up at 6am, cats fed, TV on, kettle on, tea made ready for the start of F1. 7am my grandson arrived to watch F1 with me.
So a good day all in all. Particularly as Lewis Hamilton was off the line and overtook his team mate immediately. Ended up winning 1000th F1 race. As he should.
