Think we're having bad weather? This is tonight's forecast for the Northeastern US.

Monday :-

Heavy rain and thunder and lightening overnight gave way to a predominantly cloudy day, which was also very windy. One or two showers this morning and a hailstorm at 3.00pm ; a white wonderland for an hour or so. 

Nine degrees celsius at 2.00pm and seven degrees at the time of writing ; even though it feels far colder than those temperatures suggest.

Wind has dropped. Felt quite warm outside. Now 7c.

Tues.

Started raining at 9.30pm LAST night and not stopped since.

No wind now and temp 8C

Well it was quite a day for weather.

The blue sky lasted until mid-afternoon, when it went very dark and we had torrential rain for an hour.

Then it went all calm for a while, before it started raining again.

And this morning the wind and rain are patchy, both coming and going.

Tuesday :-

Heavy rain overnight gave way to a predominantly dry and cloudy day, which was also quite windy. No sun.

Eight degrees celsius at 2.00pm and still eight degrees at the time of writing ; even though it feels colder than those temperatures suggest.

The rain was pretty steady most of the day, but eased off in the evening (both the dog and I were grateful!)

This morning was chilly but dry.

Wednesday :-

A dry and cloudy day. No wind and no sunshine. Quite nondescript really. 

Eight degrees celsius at 2.00pm and five degrees at the time of writing.
