If is not today my phone has been down for hours, I will never realise how much we are all so dependent on mobile phones. I've been waiting outside the door trying to get hold of someone also O2, in the flat, no door bell, no signals, no landline for hours. I'm so frustrated with this.

My first was about 19 years ago and had no screen, it was a Motorola Personal.

What I liked was that I could change battery packs without dropping the call, I've often wondered if that would still work if you could do it fast enough.

The 8500 really should have come with a car battery adaptor. 12 hr charge for 3 hr use. lol
