Hi folks     Those of you who followed my story will know I was sad when I didnt reach the criteria for a Hearing Dog for the Deaf.   

Ive now been offered a Sounds Support Dog. The process is underway but could take a while .

Loki is now  7yrs old. A wonderful companion & Sounds workhorse . Fire alarm, doorbell, oven alarm, timer , fetches me when other half requests it.

The big news is he (and I) have been awarded the  Gold  Hearing Dogs' award. My hearing is reducing so he qualifies to take Hearing Dogs Full Test.  If he passes he will ,by law , have the right to go anywhere with me.     Already, with a long explanation each time , he's been to the Docs, the Hearing Centre, Restaurants, certain hotels, Morrisons , & foot clinic etc . It would be lovely if he could pass this time round.

The dog is chosen for you. The receiver is accessed and a dog to fit you and you to fit the dog chosen from Spaniel , Cockerpoo, Poodle and Labrador , We secretly wanted a Labrador we got Loki !!
