R.I.P Pudsey

Pudsey the dog, winner of Britains got Talent, has died age 11

His owner Ashleigh Butler discovered that Pudsey had leukaemia when he became unwell.

Hi all pet lovers ..... my rescue 😺 cat Marty 17 is doing his bit to recover health. He together with wonderful vets, nurses & admin staff + me are all doing what we can ..... long story short: Marty on liquid antibiotics / painkillers + ... he is eating and drinking well with improvisation gleaned from various sources ..... I would not have him barely exist ..... he is not there yet, I monitor him as best I am able to. He didn't like being cooped up indoors nor the cone on him, which was making him depressed 😔 depressed ..... currently settling down for night in the little bedroom which he has made his own.

Marty was put to sleep yesterday afternoon.

His time had come.

He knew.

17 years old - an absolute smasher, a SuperPuss.

All wonderful at vets.

Last night was The Pits.

Feeling he would just jump on the bed beside me.

Thought I heard him meowing loudly to come in.

Thought I saw him out of the corner of my eye on the landing.

Had him since he was 4.

My soulmate.

A beautiful Spring-like day.

He'd been out at 7:30am ish.

Red sky at night.

Owls hooting in the dark.

Missing Marty.

Oh Jane I am so desperately sorry to hear this. ❤️

I know how much Marty meant to you and how you must be feeling. 😭

You will, eventually, just remember all the good times and the joy he brought you.

Not yet, it's far too early.

Just know he is out of pain and thanking you for making the brave decision to let him go.
