Pudsey the dog, winner of Britains got Talent, has died age 11

His owner Ashleigh Butler discovered that Pudsey had leukaemia when he became unwell.

Awake early today because of Marty wanting to go outside later than usual during the night and I can't get back to sleep ..... had several cats but never had a cat flap ..... Marty goes outside at night to pee & poo & explore ..... he has his 6th monthly check up next week = hope things go alright ..... he can sense me nearing home from being at the pub by the sound the wheels of my walker make on the ground ..... off back to bed now to read my book xx

My cat's 6 monthly check up, as mentioned above, well ..... it didn't happen ... I cancelled as on the day wasn't feeling up to the whole shebang ... however ... the 6-monthly check up happened today ... Marty was such a good boy ... = ... easy to get into the cat carry basket + waited patiently for his turn + full examination by the straight talking vet ... it turned out to be FOC Free Of Charge, except his new bottle of thyroid medicine which was £31.31 ..... he is insured by the PDSA Peoples Dispensary for Sick Animals - about £26:25 per month - hefty excess - wished someone had told me that he could have been on Petplan, but not if over 9 years old ... Marty is 15.1/2 years old

In January he is to have blood taken and his kidneys examined ... = ... over £200 ... he has one bad tooth, but the vet says no anaesthetic because of his heart murmur

The vet was generally pleased with him ... he was a good boy in her consulting room

A dog was let near him as we were waiting ... & ... rightly so Marty growled ... I spoke up politely to request the owner, who should have had the dog on a tight lead under control, if she would take her dog away from my cat ... She gave me a bit of a snark look.
