o2 run a fair deal policy where both new and existing customers enjoy the same deals and offers.
Often looking at the independants such as CPW can bring up some better deals.
If you leave o2 then ensure the new network gives you stable signal where you live, work and commute.
Test it out by using their payg sim cards for a few weeks.

O2 dropped their loyalty discounts some time back. Supposedly new and old customers are treated equally. You can, as Damien suggests, try speaking to retentions. It probably depends on who you speak to on the other end. If you're not being offered what you want, then maybe it's time to move on, but before you do, make sure you will get the same or better coverage with whichever provider you decide to move to. Sometimes what looks like a cheaper deal doesn't always work out like that if the coverage isn't as good.
