Network Issue in L34 area

Hi,
Does anybody else have an issue with using o2 in the L34 area? In the last 10weeks my iphone 3gs has become useless as I cannot receive calls (caller is told number unavailable) when I call people they can't hear me at all although they are clear to me, 3g refuses to work full stop and my msgs do not send or I receive msgs hours if not days after people have sent them!! o2 still insist network coverage is full and I have called up several times over the ten weeks to speak to a team of people not willing to help or take this issue further. They are now saying they can do no more for me!! So I am paying a monthly bill for a phone that should do everything and yet does nothing!!
Any advice would be muchly appreciated!!

Is the phone only showing symptoms in that area?
Are there other O2 customers who are having the same problem there?
If there are get them to report it as well

Hi,
No just in this area, it works fine everywhere else that I go. My sister has been logging the issue too and we have both been there when calling o2 a couple of times but as you get different people each time you have to go through the same thing in order to get the same result of......nothing!!
I know people in the area have logged the issue also as I posted a msg on facebook asking if anyone else had trouble.
The lack of customer service due to this issue is just appalling, I am missing out on work because of this but they just don't seem to care as long as I am paying my monthly bill.

Have you eliminated the phone itself? Usually points to a hardware failure if nobody else has issues on other phone models.

Hi,
Definately not the phone, they have had me do all different things to test the phone and even sent a new sim for me. My sister and Dad have the same problem and she has a samsung and he has a nokia phone.

I am having the same problem in the London area and like you I am getting nowhere with o2 it is always the same reply they don't know whats wrong with the mast or when it will be fixed it has been six weeks now. I am a PAYG customer and the tariff that I am on is SUPPOSED to give me FREE calls when I top up each month but because of the faulty mast I am getting charged for calls that are supposed to be free. (and having a battle with customer service to get the credit put back on my phone)
I know what you are going through it is a nightmear trying to make and receive calls and use the internet on the phone. It seems this problem is not convined to one part of the country how many others are affected by this problem and whereabouts are you.
