Hey O2 folk reading this, when do you plan on having an EDGE Coverage map out? It's missing in the majority of York which is fairly appalling considering the size of the city.

Hello
Today I rang the O2 Helpline as asked the same question. I am very lucky to be in an Edge area in Worcestershire.
The lady I had spoke to on the telephone said if your road is shown is dark blue or high you are in an Edge area. This however is a rough guide on the current map.
Please get an EDGE map sorted O2.
Thanks

it will be availiable around 19/11/07 , its just finished testing.
the phone will revert to gprs in a non edge area though. I've tested it on wifi , wifi hotspot (cloud) edge and gprs, gprs is still a bit slow but workable.

Got edge here in Newmarket as my mobile shows the E but o2 haven't updated their coverage map, Edge doesn't show up in their map. Bad buisness if you tell me cause edge means better network speed and downloads, why not advertise it in the coverage map and get more customers?
