Hi
you would have to be heavy streaming to use 1gb in a day.
Look in settings, mobile and look at the apps at the bottom as they will indicate what app is using how much data. Although these do need to be manually reset by you via the Reset Stastics writing highlighted in blue, before your next allowances start.
I would have suggested you contact Customer Services to question the data usage but i see you already have.
202 Contract.
4445 Payg.
If its an error they will return the data used to your allowance.

When you are at home using wifi do you turn off 'Mobile data' in your phones settings.
I ask because when your iphone screen goes to sleep it auto switches from WiFi back to 3G without you knowing.
To test this let the iphone screen go to sleep and then press the home button.
Sometimes you will see the 3G icon in the status bar before the WiFi icon kicks in.
I always turn off mobile data at home or when somewhere on WiFi however remember to switch it back on when you leave WiFi range.
