Hi 1anne0.

Overall 3 times in a couple of months is not a great deal of freezing, not as much as to warrant it being deemed faulty at this stage but still annoying nevertheless.

There are a couple of things I would suggest to stop it happening as often:

  • Make sure your phone is on the most recent software. You can check by going to Settings > About > Software Update.

If it is not up to date then connect it your computer and install Sony PC companion, this will guide you through the update process.

  • Update your apps. Make sure all your apps are up to date (make sure you do this over WiFi). Just go to "Play Store" > Options My Apps and update what is needed.

  • The next step would be a full factory reset. Just go to Settings > Backup & Reset > Factory data reset.

Obviously the reset is the last resort so back up your contacts, texts pictures etc before hand.

Hope you get it sorted, let me know so I can try and help further.

Hi, Thank you for your help, i've updated everything so fingers crossed, i did get in contact with o2, they have sent me a jiffy for me to send the phone to be looked at, i hope i won't need to do that, it has frozen again since the 1st email. Is this normal for these phones, i've not had one before so don't really know.

Again thank you slight_smile
