SAMSUNG S3 FREEZING ON ME

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi All,

My Samsung S3 has started to completely freeze on me every day, I get a black screen and when I press buttons nothing happens so I have to end up taking the battery out and put it back in again for phone to work again.

I was doing this a few months ago but not as bad and I took to O2 Store they did a system restore on it which seemed to work until now and is worse

it also gets stuck on the unlock screen bit and sometimes when making calls

what do you suggest I do? Is it the software or just the phoned Knackered?

Less then year old too

Thanks

Well this is getting interesting slight_smile  I've just checked that I posted that baseband number correctly, and I did.

Dialled what you said, and just got a pop up message that says 'Connection problem or invalid MMI code'

No idea what that means either !

Phone is Samsung Galaxy S3, and came from normal O2 shop in the high street.

Check *#1234# again (asterix, hash, 1234, hash).

Ok so its standard O2 firmware after all, it's just the baseband looks strange, but anyway, you should be able to update so try connecting to Kies if you get no response from the software updater on the phone.

Yes, it was just a bug fix, nothing major in terms of visual changes....
