I'm not wetting my pants or losing sleep or anything, but there's new firmware for the Sony Xperia XZ, which contains the January Android security updates. The new version is 41.3.A.2.58. Virgin Mobile UK have got it so it's obviously been approved by Sony in the UK for at least the single-sim version (i.e. F8331).
Just a heads-up, as has been requested in the past.

A new build for the XZ including the March Android security updates is now rolling in some countries, including the UK for Virgin and EE. Presumably O2 are on it and it will be rolling soon. The new build no. is: 41.3.A.2.99.
This also applies to the XZs and X Performance.

Seriously, it's time for the Pampers if O2 don't do something. I'm buying in advance.

I also believe that may be the case. Can I therefore also have kudos from whoever gave that to your post? I could easily hint that I work for Sony or Google, if that would grease the wheels into action.
I'm in full-pampers mode though. Several days now, I've spent worrying about security fixes that will probably never be exploited in the wild anyway

Bah don't be like that, It's only a forum isn't it. A forum where people wonder about things, and so ask questions, etc.
Thanks for the kudos Jonsie; This is the first day of the rest of my life
