Apple Watch 9 will not connect to airtime plan

Brought an O2 airtime plan for my Apple Watch series 9 and it will not complete setup. I get an error message (26) when I try to connect my plan to it. Been into O2 and they couldn’t help, the worker told me to ask on here. Can anyone help please?
