My son had cause to try and get his lumia 800 repaired. the digital
display not the screen cracked, o2 shop told him it was not covered by
warranty as it had to have been dropped to cause this damage and quoted
him £100 to fix it. They never even bot...
I have a lumia 800 and cant get either the decent o2 app or the o2 wifi
app yet my wife has a fairly basic sony xperia and gets both and they
work well, come on o2 stop putting the windows phone users at the bottom
of the heap.
At last, checked my phone today no update, plugged it in when I got
home. 7.8 got it going to start seeing what the difference is but liking
the new look already.
Spoke with the guru in Perth, he said that the update is dependent on
the serial number on your phone, longer you've had the phone the sooner
you get it.
Just had an online chat with an o2 guru, not so sure guru is the correct
term tho, told me an update was available and sent me a link to zune so
i could update my lumia 800 to the exact same set of firmware i have on
my phone brilliant NOT
