I have put a replacement sim in a new phone (previous one stolen) and I have not got any network yet? O2 website said it should be instant once phone is set up, which it is. I have tried switching the phone on and off but still no network? I have good Wi-Fi at the moment! Any ideas?

Presumably you reported the previous SIM as stolen to O2 and local authorities, @Jul - if so, the SIM you were sent by O2 should work as soon as you put it into the phone and reboot the phone. If you got the SIM from elsewhere, it may be an inactive one, or may be for the wrong type of Tariff (putting a PAYG SIM into a PAYG phone, for example).

You may need to talk to O2 in the morning (around 8am, numbers in here: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support, it via Social Media links at the foot of this post - good luck!

Hi @Jul

There may still be a block on your account.

Tomorrow you need to contact O2.

If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.
