Upgrading within min term of contract

Hi

Just a random question, can you upgrade within the minimum term of your contract with o2 or is that a definite nono?

I know there will be a fee but is this simply the amount left of the min term?

ie if you have 3 months left on min term at £20pm do you need to pay o2 £60 or is it less or cant you do that?

Anyone actually done what I'm talking about?

You can upgrade mid term but as you rightly summise you need to pay off the minimum term of your contract. This is the monthly tariff (less any bolt ons) multiplied  by the remaining months.
