Unlocking phone

Applied online using my iemi code, as requested, to have my phone unlocked. Received text in reply claiming it could not be done because it wasn’t an o2 phone. My contract is with o2. However, my phone came from carphone warehouse. Do I have to contact them?

Unless it's an iphone it will probably already be unlocked if from CPW.

Also, any iPhones bought in the last year or so from CPW are also unlocked.

Hi @Tg, did you get a chance to try a non-O2 SIM in your phone already, to check whether it's already unlocked or not? As the replies above explained, it's likely it is so it'd be great if you could try that and let us know how you get on
