These aren't astronauts and from what I saw they spent less than a minute at just above the Karman line...

These people are just Space Tourists, and that's all Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic will be known and used for. Its just a a folly for rich gits...

When BO and VG break the exosphere i'll be interested in what they have to do and say.

I agree that the money spent to do this could be much better spent to help humankind who are earthbound, and Elon Musk will soon join that elite group too, but you can't stop the super rich from spending their money the way they want to. Shame that none of them have a conscience.

I'm sure these boys & their toys have a place in history but i don't think it'd be in any book i'd want (or need) to read.

I watched it on the news. I imagine it was a great experience for the 82 year old woman. A test pilot in the 60's who never made it into Space due to her gender. A dream come true for her I expect.
