missed calls on Galaxy Note 4

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi guys,

If the question was asked before I apologise in advance.

I've noticed with my note 4 that when I miss a call, it only shows "missed call" on the lock screen and no information who called. To check that I have to unlock to the phone to check.

Does anyone know how to change that so I can see on the lock screen who called instead of unlocking the phone each time to check.

Thanks!

Not possible with any form of lock screen security enabled (same on all android phones) but I use this app on my Xperia to display more info from all kinds of alerts https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.roymam.android.notificationswidget&hl=en

No worries.

I would have at least thought the name of the caller if in your contacts list would be displayed.

Having to unlock to see who it was woukd irk me.

It's never let me down slight_smile
It was a port from a CR that I used many years ago and the dev has tweaked it over the years....
There are others but they require root, however, this one works good on most stock android ROM's....
