Hi all,

I have read the returns / cancellation policy stuff etc but still unsure ...

I am tempted by the new OnePlus 3 phone being sold instore. However, having never owned a non-premium brand phone before I am hesitant.

I know with Vodafone  you can return a handset for a full refund - even if you have opened the box and used the phone lightly - as long it looks like new.

Does the same apply with O2 - i.e. get a full refund or is exchange only?

Also, is there a difference between store bought and online purchase i.e. DSR?

Thanks!

As long as the phone isn't dropped, smashed or otherwise damaged, it's no problem.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

The only difference between in store and online is that they must be returned to the same location, so you can't take an online order back to a store and vice versa.
btw, the OnePlus 3 is premium wink

Cheers,

I read the Change mind policy page earlier.

I guess I am more concerned about the 'The goods must still be in a brand new condition' bit.

I know with Vodafone my wife tried a particular phone out for several hours, but decided the camera was really naff and took it back. They gave us a refund - no hassle at all.

I just wondered if O2 are as flexible or - once you switch the phone on and use it a bit, will they make deductions?

I appreciate the OnePlus is meant to be premium phone, but I have only ever used Sony and Samsung phones - so want to play with the phone a bit before deciding to keep it or not.

It's a change of mind policy. Meaning you have up to 14 days to return the phone in the condition it was received. Boxed up and brand new....:smileywink:
