My O2 not reflecting new tariff after refresh upgrade

Good Morning!! Wave

After upgrading my phone yesterday from a 3GB to a 30GB tariff (both on Refresh), I expected the new tariff to take effect immediately. (i.e. once the new sim transfer had completed.)

However, this is not showing when I log in to MY O2. It is still showing 3GB, and I am pretty sure I read somewhere on an FAQ that said the new tariffs start at midnight after you have "signed" a new contract.

Now assuming they applied my 30GB allowance on a pro-rata basis depending on when the upgrade occurred, surely it would be more than 3GB?

Any ideas? Don't know

Hi @xxscrappyxx It should update at midnight....so if you are concerned you may be better off ringing  customer services? http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

No point waiting if it has not been recognised...

Having said... that my new contract info actually took 4 days to show in My O2....:smileywink:

When you upgrade your myo2 will show your new data allowance in full. You will receive a pro rata amount to use until your bill date which you will then receive your upgraded allowances in full. Your myo2 will show this plus your new device plan tariff then when your latest bill is produced your new airtime plan tariff will show

Hi,

I updated mine yesterday and I have exactly the same issue but my next bill is not until 20th April so I would have thought the pro-rata rate should be more than 3GB.

I am a bit concerned so will contact O2 to see where my 30GB is hiding !!.

Loving my new S7 Edge phone though.

If you upgraded yesterday your next bill will be generated tomorrow.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Update:  I spoke to O2 and was told there is a problem.  A call has been raised to refresh the information on My O2.
