[Help] Pay And Go Go Go 500 Texts + 75 Mins + 250MB Web

Hi,

I need some explanations about my new SIM card "Pay And Go Go Go 500 Texts + 75 Mins + 250MB Web".

I bought that new SIM card 10 days ago in a O2 shop, because as a French intern for only few months in Northern Ireland, I don't need more than 500 texts and 75mins per month.

The seller told me that for £10.00/month, I could have 500 Texts + 75 Mins + 250MB Web, he sold me the SIM card and activited it himself. However, each time I text,  it debits the £10.00. As a result, I just texted 19 times and went 3 times on facebook, and my balance is £5.48. 

So I don't understand that tariff, and I don't understand why the sellers told me that I could have "500 Texts + 75 Mins + 250MB Web" per month for £10.00 ; because obviously I don't. 

If someone could give me some explanations, that would be nice ..

Yes. They could check your account and let you use their store phone to speak to Customer Services.

Try to speak to the store rep who sorted out the SIM card and top up initially.

Look in your myo2 to see what tariff is showing.

If it's not showing pay as you go go go then ring O2 on 4445 or from a landline 08448090222 to get the tariff activated although you may need to top up again to get the tariff activated. Explain to them what was said in the store as they may reverse the current charges and activate the correct Payg tariff.

Tariff changes can also be actioned via your Myo2

Actually, it is showing pay as you go go go.

Looking at that the tariff has activated.

How much did you top up with originally ?

The £10 should have been deducted and the allowances applied.

Follow my initial advice and call Cs tomorrow. They re open at 8am. They closed at 9pm tonight.

Well, I juste paid £10.00

Do you think that I can go to a O2 shop, instead of calling them ? Because I don't know if I could understand everything by phone ..

Your allowances are for use in the Uk only as stated in the tariff T&C and shown in your screen shot.

 

Just to add look here as your in Northern Island.
