Switched from monthly to pay as you go retaining my old number. I gave it a few days for the switch and began to receive texts to the number I am keeping but I can’t make any calls. It says ‘call failed’ and I can’t ring any of the o2 support numbers or even voicemail. Phone does not seem to be connected to o2 network. Help! I also topped up by £10 to activate and I began to ring support and got cut off after 2 mins with texts saying I needed to top up as I didn’t have call time.

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
