Hi there, over the past few days I have been receiving messages from O2 informing me I have an overdue bill for airtime.

I have followed the link with each message to take me to pay, but there is no direct payment section for the airtime bill.

Instead, the only payment section is for the monthly standing order I have for my device plan and pay monthly contract.

This contract said that it included my airtime plan, but wasn’t due until 7th May. Nevertheless, I payed this amount early, but still received messages saying my airtime bill is overdue, and that aspects of my phone will be turned off (calls, data, etc.) and my credit score will be affected?

Why is this? I feel I have been poorly informed about this whole situation.

Be careful with clicking on links - there are plenty of scams around !

We cannot help you as this is a customer to customer forum. I suggest that you contact O2's Payment Management team on 0800 902 0217. They are open :-

Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm
Saturday – 8am to 6pm
Sunday – 9am to 6pm

I am not sure of today's BH opening times but they might shut at 6.00pm. 👍

If you have setup a standing order, cancel it immediately.

It is a scam.

Inform your bank and report this to action fraud

Other ways to report here including Action Fraud website

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
