Changing phone number

Does anyone know how easy it is just to change my number, don't need a phone as just had an upgrade, but for personal reasons I need the number changing.

I have changed my number when I have upgraded, try calling O2 on 202 and ask, should be an easy process

Usually at your next billing cycle start but if you ask cs they may be able to do it in 24 hours.

It has to be the account holder which may be different to the bill payer.
