Which smart phone?

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi everyone, I'm new here!

I currently have an iphone 5s and am due an upgrade in October.

Assuming O2 will have the phone availabe which handset current or to be released would you recommend and why? If it's worth my while waiting later than October whats on the horizon.

Should it help my main use is text, surfing, app games - clash of clans. Wi-Fi strength and connectivity is a real must for me as is a decent clear screen.

Thanks in advance people !

I doubt very much that you will get anyone here to recommend a particular phone, or who would want to take that responsibility. There are Apple people, Android people, Windows and Blackberry people here. It would be hard to find a phone owner who likes what they're using who would be impartial. Your best option would be to narrow your choice by Operating System, and search for reviews on Google for specific phones.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Way too subjective, but any premium device will do all you want equally well.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Subjective yes - but isn't everything.

I have used Apple for last 5/6 years.  But there are so many on the market and the try before you buy is not an option.

I guess the same question alternately put is:

Which smart phone are you most excited to get next and why?

By the time October comes around I'll be getting excited about the Note 5.
I have the Note 4 which does everything I need from a phone and tablet that I hardly use anything else since getting it.

Never heard of a Note - will have to take a look to learn more. What makes it stand out form the crowd?

From a personal point of view I use the Note 4 but may well be looking at replacing it in October depending on prices. Having used the Notes 2 and 3 previously I can recommend it but it's how much you want to pay, both phone wise and tariff wise. If you are happy with your present phone you could just get a Simplicity deal and wait to see what's released later in the year. No doubt another iphone and new Note will be released but there is so much choice out there nowadays.

I use the Note 3. Bought it Sim free in December. The cost was reasonable as the Note 4 was released in September.  Beautiful device. Large screen easy to use and very fast. I love it and won't be looking to change anytime soon wink
