Try a PAYG sim & you might get a shock how good the coverage is, it's getting better all the time.
Yes you will get 4G data signal where it's available at no extra cost & if you have the correct package / add on / tariff it will be basically unlimited - some don't allow any tethering while others do.
Im currently on the PAYG £15 option, 4G all you can eat data.

Given the strain on the O2 network now, I can't see them offering unlimited 4G.
If a lot of people go for that deal I wonder if they can sustain it.
