Hi. I have recently moved from an s5 to an s9 and I am getting delayed notifications on 1 or more apps. I have tried all the suggested battery optimisation fixes but nothing works. Does anybody have any more ideas please?

@Skybluedd

Are you on Oreo?
The battery optimisation is a lot more aggressive by default for apps but can be adjusted in the app settings.

There's also a thread on XDA discussing the issue here https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s9-plus/help/problems-notifications-s9-t3768970

Hi. Yes I am running oreo. I have tried numerous battery optimization tips but none of them seem to work. I am just trying someone's advice to turn off easy mute. I will report back. Thanks for your time.

Hi. I'm not entirely sure yet. Just when i think it has solved it i get a bunch of notifications come through at once. I think I may try a hard reset.
