Is it worth having contract anymore as I just text all the time . I hardly ever ring anybody and use data now and then then . Currently paying 25 quid a month . I do like my apps though

I was a loyal PAYG customer for over 10 years.

I have recently moved to Pay Monthly (sim only).

What I am paying now, I am getting a lot more allowances for calls, texts and data, for the same price that I paid on PAYG.

Hi Gemma

 

Yes its like that with most of the networks when looking at payg Vs Contract.

 

Because one is committing more on a contract the allowances are more favourable.

Up to now, I am glad that I have moved to Pay Monthly because in the long run it will save me money and stop me worrying about texting or calling or using too much data.

At the end of the day, it's up to each individual person whether they have PAYG or pay monthly.  It depends on their needs.
