Affected my iPad also but thought it might be that I have an iPad 2 as I was waiting for the iPad Air 2 to be released.  Let's hope this update helps as you say.

I agree so far so good. 

Even my iPhone 6 is looking faster on WiFi.

Good to have Camera Roll back too.
