hi please can anybody help if i pay my device plan off iphone 6 will o2 unlock the phone????

It would be your phone then, so I don't see why not. If you're unsure, call Customer Services on 202 from your phone and ask.

They did last year but it would be best to confirm with CS as suggested by Bambino.

just been on o2 chat and they have arranged to have my iphone 6 unlocked as device plan pay off

To be honest, you might want to call Customer Service on 202 from your phone to confirm this. Live Chat doesn't have a very good reputation or track record for getting things right regarding contracts and payments.

I was going to do the same but I found this website and the extract below:

"We won't be unlocking iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus for a while. We're prioritising our stock of these devices for customers who want to use them on the O2 network. The exception to this will be O2 Refresh customers who've completely paid off their Device Plan in full - we will therefore allow iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus to be unlocked."
