Not sure if anyone has already posted about this device.
"It slips onto your USB cable and provides a “protective barrier between your device and ‘juice-jacking’ hackers”, according to Xipiter, the security company behind it.
In other words, you can charge your gadgets from public computers without worrying about anyone stealing your data. Your phone could even be at risk of data theft from your own computer, if someone has hacked it and installed malware."

Nothing whatever to do with the topic, but did you hear about the cannibal who came home from a holiday with his left arm and part of his right leg missing? He'd gone self-catering.
Oh well - it's better than all this talk about electronic condoms.

@Anonymous Actually Jane I already have a couple of USB leads with just the charging pins connected but with an old Nokia 3.5mm plug or socket on the other end and several connectors. They came with external battery packs but could just as easily be used in the above situation.
