yep they always do that, but i doubt that this year. they have EE added to the mix now with an existing 4G network so i think o2 will release it on time, they may not be the first but definately not until the 19th like the last time.

Actually with the iPhone 5 launch O2 were actually on the ball and announced pricing within 2 days of the keynote after the usual game of chicken the networks insist on playing where they see who will blink first whilst annoying all their customers.

How long the game of chicken will last this year is anyone's guess although with 4G likely to be a major part of each networks plan for the phone we may have a longer wait than last year before the networks man up and tell us what we need to know

02 will already have their pricing sorted well before the launch.

It's a shame that they (and indeed the other networks) don't act like they do and instead act like the announcement has come as such a surprise to them that they have absolutely no idea what they are going to charge people for it

So no pre-order on either phones?

That's a bit of a shame: that means checking on stocks every once in a while.

That also probably means loss of business for O2 as people may with whichever network can provide them with the phone of their choice the quickest...

To switch Networks just to get a certain phone can have its obvious pitfalls.

Not all Networks give the same Signal and Data Coverage.

One would run the risk of having a nice new shiny phone ,but without Network signal rendering it virtually useless.

Patience is a virtue.

With my contract up at the end of the month I am looking to switch to my first ever iPhone. However i don't like the look of the 5c, and if the 5s comes in more expensive than the old 5 I fear I will be off to look at Androids
