72 hours normally.

Try a non O2 UK SIM card in it which completes the unlocking procedure. No need to hook up to iTunes to see if it's done !

Check any spam folders for your email confirmation.

1-2 days usually in my experience, sometimes within 24 hours. Think it depends how busy they are, and If they have a backlog.
