Charges

This is the phone my daughter uses and I have just noticed a number of charges going to the same destination and costing 33pence a go. The destination number is 00000000001234 and has only been charged from 19 January 2015. The contract for this phone has unlimited texts and she is still within her gb usage. I have been through the phone and she has not received or sent any media/photos to any number at the times we have been charged. She has assured me that nothing has been deleted (if this is the case - I'll deal with that!) I would really appreciate it if you can offer any insight into these charges.

Thank you

Sharon

It is the number used when you send an sms message to an email address.
Usually when selecting a contact the person will accidentally select an email address or that particular contact has only an apple id registered to an email (probably using an iPod and not an iPhone)
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

This is an older thread but it does mention the number you state.

Thanks - have double checked with her phone and the charges coincide with texts sent to another iphone but have sent to his email address rather than the phone - Have turned off MMS so hopefully this won't happen again - Bit peeved we didn't know you get charged when this happens!!!

Thanks again

PS thanks for changing the number so quickly - realised my mistake but you'd already taken her number down - so thanks for that too 🙂
