Xperia Z1 headphones

Thought I would start a new thread to ensure the info is kept on topic.

As you know the headphones were missing from our z1 boxes.

Some people have gotten credit, others told the headphones have been ordered.

I was told (phone and web chat) that the headphones could only be ordered as they do not give credit (inconsistent!) so this was fine as I wanted the headphones....

A day later I got an email saying they are out of stock so please go into a store and pick them up free of charge...

This sounded strange as I was sure stores wouldn't do this, called a store this morning and sure enough they don't do this. All they could do was order them for me and they come from the same warehouse as customer service order from!!!

The misinformation coming out of O2 is rather worrying so far....is it always like this?

TBH I dont blame you.

I use Monster Turbines for my iPhone 5 and are really good but at £140 they should be !

Tried and failed!

None in stock, guess bluecircus got the last! 😞 Haha

Not budging on anything other than the £39.99 credit now which will be applied once I send them a receipt after purchasing some myself.

Also they are being told now (new advice) that the Z1 does NOT and should NOT come with headphones...so others may struggle to get anything.

Now just received a text from 80202 saying "O2: Thanks for your order., your accessory item has been shipped Royal Mail this will be with you within the next 1 to 2 days."

Now that is usually nice to hear, but in this case...what accessory? lol!

I'm not sure why o2 are saying the Z1 shouldn't come with headphones - that's total nonsense! I got mine from p4u and the headphones were in the box!!! There was a a space for them in the box and why would other suppliers have boxes with the headphones?

For six hundred quids worth of product, it would be scandalous not to be provided with something as relatively basic as a pair of earphones.

Was also told that the Xperia doesn't come with headphones

But according to Sony Support All Xperia Z1 should come with headphones regardless of carrier
